Very impressed with your show at Tolbert's last night, it was our first time there too. We'll be glad to show up and dance to Sitting Still anywhere you guys show up to play it.
Pete writes:
We will be glad to play it anytime you show up. Be sure to stop by anytime you make a show and we will toss it into the set even if we had not planned on it. Thanks you two!

Pete writes:
Thank you Nicolas!! We were thrilled that you came all the way out to see us and are glad that R.E.M continues to attract fans of all ages. We are hoping to get back out to Tolbert's soon and look forward to seeing you again.

More Dallas shows...once a month or every two months isn't enough! Demanding more shows is a compliment; hope it's taken that way.

Addendum: Throw "Walk Unafraid" into the mix; possibly "Bang and Blame" from the Les Paul era...
Pete writes:
Hey Wahi thanks for the post! We try to keep the gigs to once a month so we don't wear out our welcome with the crowds or our spouses but keep checking just in case we add a last second show. We actually played Bang and Blame at the Barley House show but it was late in the set. I believe you can hear it in the Sonic Sample page if you just cant wait that long!

Dada is a great joint, you should attempt to work things out. Trees is opening soon too. Get yer butts out there and play, boys.
Pete writes:
It was not anything personal with Dada. The Listening Room is geared towards quieter acts and management was leery of putting us on the main stage unless we could bring in a crowd of more than 15 or 20 people. We told them that we could make no promises since there is always a difference in how many folks say they are coming vs. how many actually show up and they just were not willing to take the chance on it. We still hope to eventually play there again, perhaps as part of a multi band show.

Excellent show at Central Market, guys! I really enjoyed the show and even my g/f-who's a metal head- enjoyed the show! Work "Texarkana" into your setlist, please. That'd be so awesome!

So glad I was able to make it out to CM on the 17th to catch the latest incarnation; you guys have a winning combination! Thanks for the heads up on the show, Pete, and I hope Jon will indulge in a bit more "Buck dancing" once the back is back in shape!

Hey guys just wanted to thanks for an incredible show at our private party this weekend. Needless to say I was completely surprised that my wife had set this up and I was in awe that I actually had "REM" playing in my backyard! Being able to call out the songs I wanted to hear just put it all over the top. Can't wait to see you guys play again. And for anyone wanting to book these guys for a party I can honestly say this was money very well spent!!
Pete writes:
Thanks Brett and Happy Birthday!
We always enjoy playing for the dedicated REM fans and appreciate the hospitality you showed us. Thanks for the IPA (very tasty)and we are glad the cops went away without anyone going to jail! See you at the shows.

You guys need to play in the great pacific northwest. I mean, if Mini Kiss can make it here, so can you!
Pete writes:
I love the PNW and entertained the thought of moving up near Seattle a few years ago. My best friends works for Microsoft and we always enjoy getting together to hit the local breweries and knock back a few glasses of IPA and ESB. Thanks for the post. Maybe someday....

Thanks for the post! Joe and I have a special place in our hearts and stomachs for the great city of NY as we love nothing more than to take the D or the F out to Coney Island for a Nathan's whenever we are there.

Only just found out about you guys from the Stipe website. I must say, you's sound totally awesome..
Any chance of heading Down Under for some touring??
Hard enough getting R.E.M. here themselves....
Pete writes:
Hmmm.
While I have always wanted to visit down there I can safely say that the odds of us playing your wonderful country are pretty slim. But we do thank you for checking us out and for your complements on the playing. You should hear us when we are sober.
